Many bird breeders use this seed for its medicinal properties in the fight against coccidia.
 
Coccidiosis is an intestinal disease that affects cage birds.
This type of disease mainly affects young or weak birds, causing them to despondency, thinness or bloody diarrhea.
If your bird has any of these symptoms go to the vet.
 
How to use:
 
Serve 1 or 2 times a week in a biscuit, apart from the maintenance alpiste.
