This breeding pack of the prestigious brand PSITTACUS is composed of:

1 bag of PSITTACUS HIGH ENERGY PORRIDGE of 1 kg

It is designed to breed manually, from the first moment in which the cannons of the feathers emerge, those species of parrot that require diets high in fat: yacos, macaws, eclectus, poicephalus ... It contains the most suitable vegetable fat for these species: palm oil. It also contains papaya, favoring digestive transit. Its use is recommended until the moment of emancipation. On average, parrots ingest 7 to 10 ml of porridge per 100 g of weight.  It is advisable to make sure that one hour before each feeding the baby's crop is completely empty. We recommend supplying the porridge with a syringe with a soft probe made of virgin rubber or silicone. This is the method we use in our breeding center because it is the safest and cleanest. We recommend stimulating the animal by pressing the lateral corners of the beak to provoke swallowing movements, before the introduction of the probe.

Soft probes are utensils of the highest quality. They have a rounded tip and are extremely resistant and durable. The fact of having a rounded tip facilitates its swallowing by the chicks.

Soft probe probing is the safest and cleanest procedure for dispensing porridge.

The different diameters of probes allow to supply the porridge to the different species of parrots at each moment of their development.
