Acidcare contains short-chain fatty acids and medium such as citric acid, lactic acid and salts of formic acid,propionic acid and butyric acid with a high antimicrobial effect. The acidification of the digestive tract of the birds increases the action of the digestive enzymes and hence the digestion of food, increases nutrient absorption and decreases the appearance of diarrhoea and the occurrence of pathogens. In addition, the organic acids favor the growth of the intestinal villi increasing their protection and improving the absorption of nutrients.

Acidcare contains a complex mixture of essential oils from plants that reinforce the synergistic effect of the acid, increase the secretion of digestive enzymes, have a marked antimicrobial effect against bacteria, fungi and parasites, stimulate the immune system of the birds and exert an extraordinary antioxidant function.
